Tagged by Imp's Mom, I couldn't for the love of my life figure out what it meant until I visited her blog today. So, I am to answer the questions in the list below and send the tag out to someone else. Ahhh!! Okie, let's see. I don't think I know me well enough to answer these accurately but hey, what's to lose!!
Eight things I am passionate about:
1. Husband (but is he a thing?)
2. Unchaahi
3. Traveling
4. Keeping fit
5. Dancing though I don't do it professionally
6. Writing though I don't do it professionally either
7. Photography though I don't know how to do it professionally
8. Poetry especially urdu and punjabi
Eight things I want to do before I die:
1. Have Unchaahi make a difference for at least one girl if not many
2. Get over my fear of water and actually swim for a change as opposed to floating as I normally do
3. Make a critically acclaimed documentary
4. Write a book - doesn't have to be published :)
5. Write a song/poem in Punjabi to be sung by singers like Gurdas Mann or Sabar Koti or Manmohan Waris or Nachhatar Gill or lately Amrinder Gill :D
6. Learn one musical instrument ... just the basics would do too
7. Be an expert in any one dance form
8. Be a good mother
Eight things I say often:
1. Pati (husband)
2. NOW ;p
3. I'm hungeee
4. *unnecessary giggling*
5. I don't understand why ...
6. Hello! when trying to get someone's attention (to which Husband responds with a 'Hello, who is this?' even when he's in the same room) hahaha
7. I am so thankful to whoever deserves my gratitude for giving me such a fab life and a fab husband.
8. Ugh I've gained weight!! ;///
Eight books I have read recently:
Are you kidding me? I don't know. We have 10-20 books lying around the house - living room and bedroom - and when chance avails, we pick up any one of those and start reading where we last left it off. ADD at its worst. No one book can sustain my interest for me to finish it in one go. However, lately, I've been reading a lot of books to do with Female Foeticide and Sex Selective Abortions in India. Books that tabulate the research done in these fields.
Eight songs I could listen to over and over:
1. Lonestar's Amazed
2. Daniel Bedingfield's If you're not the one
3. Kuldip Manak's any
4. Gurdas Mann's most
5. Sabar Koti's most
6. Nachhattar Gill's few
7. Amrinder Gill's few
8. Sufi poetry and Shiv Kuman Bataalvi et al
Darn! I am more Punjabi than I previously thought. Heck, if we have such wonderful talent at home, why should we look outside?
Eight things that attract me to my friends:
How am I to know that? Let me ask a friend - husband - who was best friend before being promoted to husband.
Aww I am glad this made me ask him cuz .. well, read on:
1. I can trust you with my life
2. I can actually talk to you
3. You're very intelligent
4. You give me a sense of fulfillment
5. You have opinions
6. You are open to new ideas
7. Time flies when you're around
8. Your dad is rich
lol@#8 and his sense of humor is why I married him.
I can't believe I finished this!! Wow, I didn't think I could manage. Who am I to pass this on to? I'll do it to my only two regular readers!! Sidhusaaheb and Manpreet. :D I shall do it to Alank and Happy Kitten too. You're all tagged, my lovelies!!

http://www.apnaorg.com/
BTW, since I've to list EIGHT of everything, I'll have to think really hard. I'm not sure if I'll even manage to complete all. Looks like one of the examinations at school and college...
